The Holy Father accepted today: - the resignation to the pastoral government of the Archbishop of Liverpool, Patrick Altham Kelly, according to can. 401 § 2 of the Code of Canon Law.Could one consider it as a sign of special concern for the UK that in the last few days of his Pontificate that Pope Benedict has dismissed one Archbishop and accepted the resignation of another?
